I could probably come up with thousands of reasons why it has taken me so long to redesign my site, but I'll just say this: I've been overwhelmed. I've embarked on a mission to pursue my dreams of becoming an interior designer and am halfway through my two-year master's program at Parsons School of Design. As of today, I have three simultaneous internships, and I also work with my husband on our company and of course, I maintain the Copper Paper brand. I am so excited to unveil this new website design, which represents the shift from this blog as a personal blog and into a design blog that my favorite and notable interiors, architecture, fashion, graphics and theoretical design topics. I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I do, and as long as it is interesting to anyone other than myself, I am happy to have made any difference at all.

High-level and advanced design generally feels like it can only be accessible by those who are in-the-know—either you get it, or you don't. The mission of Copper Paper is to make design accessible for those who may never have seen themselves as a designer, or have any passion for design at all. I am hoping that the details that I find interesting and explore daily will be those smaller ones that make up a more holistic outlook on design being a lifestyle and perspective on life, and not just a tangible and visual spectator sport.
